Books We've Read

In the space on this blog, please cut and paste your "Book Reviews" for any books you've read in Honors. On the first line, please indicate the Book Title and author.

In addition to the book write-up, students should create a short “book review” for each honors book they read. This review should contain the following information:

·      The author and title

·      A general synopsis of the book (but don’t give anything away)

·      A general recommendation for the book (would you recommend it? Why? Is it challenging? Informative? Compelling?)

·      What did you gain from this books? 

New Book Write-ups

Honors Students.
A few of you have requested that I add new required reading prompts to the list, as you've grown tired, bored, and/or sick of the old ones. SO, in that spirit, I would like to open it up to suggestions.

Please write down your suggestions on this blog for new reading prompts. You can put your own down, and/or comment of others that you like.

Remember, all prompts must encourage a deeper and more complex reading of the book, and encourage a more thoughtful and in-depth analysis.
