New Book Write-ups

Honors Students.
A few of you have requested that I add new required reading prompts to the list, as you've grown tired, bored, and/or sick of the old ones. SO, in that spirit, I would like to open it up to suggestions.

Please write down your suggestions on this blog for new reading prompts. You can put your own down, and/or comment of others that you like.

Remember, all prompts must encourage a deeper and more complex reading of the book, and encourage a more thoughtful and in-depth analysis.

  1. The Sub-Plot: What is the author really saying? How do they use plot and characterization to say it? Is it meaningful, or less so?
